Purpose of blog

21 Years ago, my wife Erika and I had the wonderful experience to keep the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days on board the cruise ship MTS OCEANOS in company of about 500 brethren from many parts of the world. Sailing out of Athens/Piraeus, Greece and visiting many of the Greek Islands including Ephesus and Istanbul in Turkey was a dream come true.

We have nothing but wonderful memories from this feast-cruise, and would like to revive and share them with as many as can be located after all these years. Think back and dig back, and share your memories with your fellow travelers, your family and your friends. Find out what happened to your brethren and rekindle old friendships (no reason to wait until the kingdom).

No doubt, some are no longer with us, but let’s add their names and pictures to the passenger list and thereby keep the memories of their friendships alive as well.

In addition to the spiritual benefits, the annual Feast of Tabernacles is a great educational opportunity not only for the adults but also for our children. Most of us would never visit the many, and often faraway places, both in the US and abroad, without God's holy days.

Yes, we all look forward to the next feast, but let us not forget the past. Hopefully what we have learned in the past is a part of our daily walk with God today.
